Louis Braille’s Birthday Celebrations

Invitation of the Development & Welfare Association of the Blind  (DWAB) to participate in the 203rd Louis Braille’s Birth Day  Celebrations at Surdas Bhavan, Nalgonda at 6.00 p.m., on Wednesday, 4th January, 2012

The DWAB was started with a view to cater the needs of blind community across the state without any discrimination of caste, community, sex and age. The association aims at the all-around development of each and every blind individual to make him/her a self supporting and contributing member of the society.

The programme will be presided over by Sri Nukala Narasimha Reddy President, Bar Association, Nalgonda.

6.00 pm : Welcoming the Chief Guest and Guests with Purnakumbham.
Guests visit to School Building and Braille Exhibition
6.30 pm : Garlanding Louis Braille Statue and Plantation of Saplings by Chief Guest.
6.40 pm : Inviting guests to the Dias and presentation of Bouquets by the students.
6.45 pm : Vandemataram
6.50 pm : Lighting of "Jyothi" and garlanding the Louis Braille Photo on Dias.
6.55 pm : Songs by Students
7.10 pm : Brief History of Louis Brailley by Student.
7.15 pm : Songs by the Students
7.30 pm : Speech of the old Student, Sri B. Srinivas Reddy, M.Phil.
7.35 pm : Submission of Memorandum by the General Secretary, Development and Welfare Association of the Blind, Nalgonda.
7.40 pm : Felicitations to the Donors & Well wishers
8.00 pm : Address of the Principal and District Sessions Judge, Nalgonda and District Collector, Nalgonda
8.15 pm : Address by Chief Guest.
8.30 pm : Presentation of Mementos to the Chief Guest and Guests.
8.40 pm : Vote of thanks.
8.45 pm : Folk Songs by Kum. Peddinti Madhupriya
