Now, as most people are busy perfecting their Dandiya and Garba steps to the tunes of Falguni Pathak and Amit Tridevi, a group of girls have been dancing to a special song penned down by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Porvorim: For the first time, Goa will host international matches for visually impaired cricketers at the GCA Academy ground, Porvorim, it was announced at a press conference at the Goa Cricket Association (GCA) headquarters on Sunday.

We want people to look up to us with pride, not sympathy, says CABI secy

People look up to us in sympathy, but we want them to look up to us with pride, says secretary of Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) and cricket player Sonu Golkar.

For the first time, the city cricket lovers will witness an International tournament for the blind.

The international tournament will be played in Bhopal on October 17 that will be a great experience for the game lovers.

The tournament is organised by Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI). The back-to-back series of cricket will be held in different cities of the country.

Five Bears named by ECB in Visually Impaired tour of India

ECB have today announced five Warwickshire cricketers in a 16-man Visually Impaired (VI) squad for their upcoming tour of India.

Warwickshire's Justin Hollingsworth, Luke Sugg, Nathan Foy, Mo Khatri and Mark Turnham are part of the squad that will take on World Champions India in three IT20s before competing in a Tri-Series against India and Sri Lanka.

Brazil fan who is deaf, blind follows World Cup with help

Like fans all over soccer-mad Brazil, Carlos Junior followed every move the national team made on the field Monday in its 2-0 victory over Mexico.

But Junior did not watch or listen to the game the way most Brazilians did. Instead, the 31-year-old massage therapist who is deaf and blind experienced the match with the help of interpreters using touch communication and a model soccer field to recount the passes, goals and fouls of the national team.
