I have cleared the AIEEE exam this year and got provisional admission in PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh under the Physically Handicap Quota. I have been asked by the College to go through a medical check-up/fitness test at G.M.S.H Sector-16 Chandigarh. I went to the Eye Department in the Hospital and the doctors there have declared me unfit to pursue engineering/technical course. They asked for relaxed norms for Visually handicapped candidates from the college but college has refused to provide any relaxed norms for such candidates.This has left me utterly perplexed as to what should I do now. Am I eligibile for engineering ? It's a question of my future. Please help me. I am looking forward to a reply from your side. Thanks
