An Egyptian museum enables visitors with visual disability to explore historic treasures of the country through Braille. They are now able to feel the magic of history, thanks to a special new gallery which will let them discover by touch the historic treasures.

The museum provides cards written in Braille that explains all the information about the antiques shown. Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Mr. Zahi Hawass, said that a group of blind and sighted people participated in the project. He added that the project received local and international praise.

The project aims to enable everyone to benefit and learn, said Mr. Farouq Hosni, Egyptian Minister of Culture.
