Index Braille Asia has two distributors in India, Karishma Enterprises in Mumbai and Sparsh Products in Dehra Dun. Since this a new product in the area, none of them have yet started to distribute the software in India, however you could contact them and request them to supply you the software. You may also purchase the software directly from Index Braille Asia if you so prefer. Says a user: “I am using the Nokia 3650 model. I find it a more solid unit compared to the 7650. The keypad is a bit different, but I think it is easier for a blind person to use compared to the 7650. The keys are easier to detect as they stand out from the phone. The keys on the 7650 model are in level with the phone and consequently it may be difficult for a blind person to detect and recognise the keys”.
