The curriculum involves both classroom sessions and hands-on practice. Refraction, as well as management of the operation theatre, wards, and outpatient services, are covered in the course. The medium of instruction is Tamil. Eligibility: Open only to girls in south Tamil Nadu who have passed the 12th standard. Proficiency in Tamil is essential. Contact details: The Course Co-ordinator Certificate Course In Clinical and Supervisory Skills Development In Ophthalmic Paramedical Personnel The course is offered in collaboration with IAPB (International Agency for Prevention of Blindness) The overall aim is to enhance clinical and supervisory skills to improve the effectiveness of the paramedics' services. The broad areas covered are operation theatre and ward, outpatient and refraction. The training is conducted twice a year (Starting on the 1st of April and November of each year). Eligibility: Higher Secondary or equivalent; Paramedics with atleast 8-10 months experience in outpatient, operation theatre,ward and refraction activities, Age maximum 40 years, minimum experience of 3 years Duration: Three months Number of Seats: 10 Download application
