The institute offers the best in surgical techniques and allows one to master all there is in the field of ophthalmology. Government of India has recognised it as a centre of excellence and deputes surgeons from various parts of the country to be trained here in the intraocular lens implantation, corneal transplantation and in the field of paediatric ophthalmology. Eligibility: M.B.B.S. from a medical college recognised by the Medical Council of India and should have passed the Part 1 examinations conducted by the board. Documentation of prior educational and work experience is required for applicants to the program. The candidates are required to write an entrance exam and attend a further interview before final selection.
