Organisations can also contact Duration: Depending on the need of group, training period can be from a minimum of two days to maximum 15 days Training can be for 2,3,5,7 and 15 days No. of participants: 25-30 students in a batch Course content: The course would cover aspects such as: Access needs (Physically Impaired, Vision Impaired, Hearing Impaired), Disability awareness, suitability of the environment for People with Disabilities (sensory, physical and cognitive) and elderly, Anthropometrics, External & Internal Environment – Design Considerations, Function of access features, guidelines on how to conduct an access audit. The workshop would be followed by access audit. Other Information: The objective of this workshop is to provide a better insight and broaden the perspective of the participants (Special educators, teachers, architects, engineers, service providers, policy makers, professionals, officials from urban development, CBR workers, Mobility instructors, NGO’s and others) but would also sensitize them about the importance of disabled friendly environment.
