• The Institute conducts various vocational training courses, like - Braille Shorthand and Typewriting (Tamil), Computer Operations primarily for employed blind persons and Executive Secretaryship etc. • The institute organizes sale of aids and appliances. • Braille Printing is also done at the institute. • It also has an exciting project running, where in college level books are recorded on audio tapes and is broadcasted over Anna FM Radio (1 hour a day), 6.30 P.M. to 7.30 P.M. The show is broadcasted in Tamil and English. • Research and Development is another important activity.
