This section profiles persons with visual impairments who have excelled in their fields. Some of them have been blind since birth, while others have developed visual impairments later in their lives. What's common to all of these people is their drive to excel and their will to overcome odds.
The profiles are divided into two main categories: Indian achievers and international achievers. These two categories are further sub-divided into areas of excellence such as music, politics, art, etc. Click on the name of the person who interests you to read their fascinating accounts.
