Conference for blind entrepreneurs in U.S.

More than 500 blind business people are expected to take part in this year's National Association of Blind Merchants (U.S.A.) conference on March 7 2007 in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A.
The annual event, known as the Business Leadership and Superior Training conference, or B.L.A.S.T., brings together business and community leaders for speeches, workshops, hands-on training sessions, and networking opportunities.
B.L.A.S.T. is all about moving out of one's comfort zone," Kevan Worley, president of the Colorado Springs chapter of the National Association of Blind Merchants, said in a statement.
Worley felt that blind business owners are shattering public misconceptions about blindness. "Sight is not a prerequisite for success in the business world or in any other aspect of life," he said.
