UDIS Forum has invited applications from visually challenged girl students for the Marga Schulze Scholarship.

A release from the organisation said it was a merit-based scholarship aimed at motivating visually challenged girls to pursue higher education.

The scholarship was open for students from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The applications would be put through a selection process based on the criteria set by the UDIS Forum. Selected applications would receive Rs. 12,000 or Rs. 15,000 or Rs. 18,000 if they pursued undergraduate, B.Ed. or post-graduate courses. Thus far, more than 300 girls had benefitted.
